We had a very well attended ceremony to rename Deep Thoughts. We didn’t change the name from Deep Thoughts. Rather, we made the name Deep Thoughts official.
The renaming ceremony is supposed to happen after you purchase the boat and before you put the new name on it. We meant to do it in Seneca, Illinois last year, but didn’t manage to get around to it.
As Michael Scot from the office would say:

When we said we wanted to have a renaming ceremony, the Looper Community had our back. Eamonn and Rhonda on Volition provided us with the script. Jennifer and Elliot from Pivot contributed the champagne. Jessie from RelationShip filmed the ceremony. We also had some Canadian champagne (aka Molson Canadian) leftover from Thanksgiving that we hoped Poseidon would like.
I swear I took some pictures. And yet, there are none on my phone and none on Greg’s phone. If you were at the ceremony and have some pictures, please let me know.
