I was hoping after a month that I would have turned into a brand new me. Someone who wakes up at the crack of dawn full of vim and vinegar. Someone who polishes the surfaces that need polishing and scrubs the surfaces that need scrubbing. Someone who plans healthy meals and shops in a timely matter to make those meals.
Nope, nope, and nope.
I’m tired all the time. I still go to bed too late and take too many naps during the day.
I want to believe the fatigue is due to my lack of fitness and not my age. I can do something about the former.
I lived a fairly sedentary life before we started this journey. I was taking baby steps towards getting in shape but had not gotten very far. I went from sitting on my butt most of the day to getting in 7,500 steps.
Now I’m walking almost every day, sometimes for fairly long distances. We shop for groceries that we both carry back to the boat. So I’m hoping that one day body parts will stop hurting.
In the meantime. I get to look at things like this.
Beautiful photos, Charlene!
Thanks, Kathleen.
