You wouldn’t think a trip to town would turn into a three-hour wait in the park, but it did.

We have left Hammond for the last time this season.

Even though we started at Seneca, we’ve decided to officially call this leg of the journey the beginning of the Loop.

Craps, blackjack, and just a little bit of slots. Not a bad way to spend a Tuesday night.

The window to start our journey is closing. Will we be able to travel the Great Loop this year?

We’re back to people talking to us in Hammond, Indiana.
